Many of you passed all your courses (asignaturas) and are FREE !
You are off visiting friends and family or traveling the world.
Some of you may be getting some practical training. You're doing an internship at a multinational or at a local company. That hands-on experience is really important for your CV. It's also important because you'll discover what kind of jobs you're interested in and what kind of work you do NOT want to do in the future.
Others could already have a summer job. Your parents have finally finished paying for college, and now YOU need to earn some money. You're already counting your euros and planning for the future.
Lots of you could be applying for graduate school. You've decided to do a Masters and PhD here at the UEM or anywhere else around the world.
Maybe you already have a full-time job. You've been working and studying, putting yourself through school. That's very admirable. You're way ahead of the others. You're already familiar with the job market.
And then there are those who didn't pass. They're still studying. They have make-up finals this summer or a project to turn in. They might have to take the course again next year and are getting a head-start.
Don't worry. You can't get EVERYTHING right the first time.
As Henry Ford (1863-1947) said:
Failure is simply the opportunity
To begin again more intelligently
Wherever you may be, PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH !
